The company has its roots in a small mill acquired in 1922 by Josef Fuchs senior. In 1987, Josef Fuchs in third generation recognized the trend for whole foods started the production of museli. By building the manufacturing plant at Kastebell in 1998, the company created the basis for an international marketing strategy for the production of breakfast cereals, museli and natural food.

The name Fuchs stands for first-class quality and outstanding taste. For this reason, in-house laboratories regularly and systematically examine the incoming raw materials for their suitability and food safety. Likewise, the products in production as well as the finished products are controlled to the highest quality standards.

The foundations for the best possible quality are the quality management systems HACCP, IFS (International Food Standard) and Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 and No. 889/2008 on organic production.

IFS-certified guarantees that our products meet all legal requirements and, through generally accepted food industry auditing standards, would continually improve the safety concerns of our customers.

Our BIO products must come from organically controlled cultivation, must not be genetically modified and have been grown without the use of conventional pesticides, artificial fertilizers or sewage sludge.

Fuchs has many years of experience in the processing and production of cereal products. The constant development of production processes and products has led to a wide and high-quality program of breakfast cereals, muesli products, cereals and flour. Fuchs places the highest quality demands on the raw materials to be processed: direct imports from all over the world and intensive cooperation with domestic producers ensure access to selected and valuable raw materials.

State-of-the-art and mostly fully automated production facilities guarantee an economical and at the same time high-quality production of the products. Facilities of the most renowned manufacturers as well as in-house developments and improvements of the machines stand for high-tech and efficiency.
